Triumph Motorcycles has revealed two thrilling models for 2025: the Speed Twin 1200 and the even more dynamic Speed Twin 1200 RS. These two modern classics come packed with cutting-edge technology, updated styling, and improved handling characteristics, making them ideal for riders seeking performance and timeless design. Available globally in dealerships from December 2024, these bikes offer enhanced chassis components, updated suspension systems, and innovative safety features like Optimised Cornering ABS and traction control.

Speed Twin 1200 RS

The 2025 Speed Twin 1200 RS stands out with its more focused, engaged ride, offering sharper handling and increased power. It’s equippedIt’sh fully adjustable Marzocchi forks and Öhlins rear suspension units, which provide superior responsiveness and agility on the road. The RS model features twin Brembo Stylema calipers paired with 320mm discs for enhanced braking power. Adding Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires as standard ensures exceptional grip and performance, even in the most demanding conditions.

Both models have received an increase in power, with an additional 5PS of peak output, bringing the total to 105PS at 7,750 rpm. This power increase is thanks to the high-compression Bonneville 1200 twin engine, which produces an impressive 112 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm, providing strong acceleration and thrilling performance at all speeds. The RS model also benefits from a refined, sportier riding position, with repositioned handlebars and rear-set footpegs for a more aggressive stance, enhancing rider connection to the road.
